3rd Annual Biosurveillance Symposium

The 3rd Annual Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) Biosurveillance Symposium will take place June 12, 2014 in Baltimore, Maryland. The symposium will address the National Strategy for Biosurveillance identified core functions including: threat identification and characterization; prioritized research and development requirements; aberration detection; and risk anticipation. The event is also focused on efforts to improve integration, sharing, and analysis of biosurveillance data in near real-time and in a format that provides essential information to decision makers, including responders and healthcare providers.
