Tropical Infectious Diseases

The 2015 Gordon Research Seminar on Tropical Infectious Diseases will take place March 7-8, 2015 in Galveston, TX.
The 2015 Gordon Research Seminar on Tropical Infectious Diseases is a unique forum for junior scientists to share their basic science and translational research, as well as work closely with selected senior scientist mentors. The GRS will develop participants’ presentation, networking and writing skills, closing with an interactive session on manuscript submission with journal editors.
Research topics discussed will include diseases of major medical significance in the developing world, including malaria, arboviruses, and other neglected tropical diseases that will be presented at the following GRC.
The meeting will feature approximately 10 talks and 2 poster sessions. All attendees are expected to actively participate in the GRS either by giving an oral presentation or presenting a poster. All applications must include an abstract.
GRS Speaker Abstract Deadline: Applicants who wish to be considered for an oral presentation should submit their application by December 7, 2014
Seminar Application Deadline: Must be submitted by February 7, 2015.
