SUMMARY:DARPA ReVector Proposers Day
DESCRIPTION:The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) Biological Technologies Office is holding a Proposers Day meeting on 17 May 2019 to provide information to potential proposers on the objectives of the new ReVector program and to facilitate teaming. \nThe goal of ReVector is to develop an easily delivered treatment — for example\, a topical solution — that safely and temporarily modifies the human skin microbiome to alter scents and thereby reduce attraction of disease-spreading mosquitoes. \nThe Proposers Day will include overview presentations by DARPA personnel and potential government partners; an information session during which government personnel will respond to questions posed by participants; “lightning” talks (three minutes\, one slide) to allow potential proposers to highlight technical capabilities of interest and promote teaming; and short sidebars with DARPA personnel for discussion of any proprietary information that participants would not want to disclose in the other open sessions. \nAttendance at this event is not a requirement for submission of a proposal or selection for funding. Information relayed during the Proposers Day will be made available on the BTO section of the DARPA Opportunities page: http://www.darpa.mil/work-with-us/opportunities. \nDue to space limitations\, attendance is limited to no more than three attendees per division/department unless capacity is not reached. \nParticipants must register in advance through the registration website.
