DESCRIPTION:Come learn about the One Health concept with experts in the public\, private\, and academic fields.\n\n\nThe George Mason University Next Gen Global Health Security Network and the GMU Biodefense Discussion Group are sponsoring a GMU One Health Day Panel Discussion on November 5\, 2019. \nThe event will take place from 4:30pm to 6:30pm in Van Metre Hall at the GMU Arlington Campus. Panel Members will include: \n\nMichael E. von Fricken MPH\, PhD\, GMU Global and Community (GCH) Health Security\nJarod Hanson DVM\, PhD\, Associate Editor at Program for Monitoring Emerging Diseases\nWilly A. Valdivia-Granda CEO\, Orion Integrated Biosciences\, INC.\nTaylor Winkleman DVM\, LMI\, Georgetown University\, Next Gen GHS Network\n\nThis panel will discuss the One Health approach through the various lens of their real world experiences. Discussions and interactions with the audience will address insightful views of innovation and emerging technology developments for biosafety and biosecurity. \nSpace will be capped at 35 participants\, so register as soon as possible to ensure your spot in the audience.
