DESCRIPTION:A virtual meeting of the Bipartisan Commission on Biodefense will be held on July 21\, 2020 to discuss “COVID Complexities: Converging Threats\, Fractured Resources”. \nThe ongoing novel coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic has taken the lives of more than 100\,000 Americans and damaged the Nation’s economy. As the country reopens\, the disease threatens the public\, now and into the foreseeable future. Federal support for state\, local\, tribal and territorial preparedness and biosurveillance will be crucial to addressing further spread of COVID-19.
