The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is hosting an Industry Engagement Event on February 25, 2015 in Washington, D.C.
The goal of the event is to discuss initiatives and program topics which many span multiple components across the organization. Key topics under consideration include biometrics, data and storage management, and how research and development drives innovation in the federal space.
After a general plenary session with distinguished speakers, DHS will host topic-specific panels to highlight challenges and engage with industry in a meaningful dialogue on innovative approaches to address these challenges. Both industry and government personnel will participate on the panels, and industry comments, questions, and recommendations are welcomed both prior to and during the event.
The DHS Secretary, Deputy Secretary, and Chief Procurement Officer are among the invited speakers.
