October 31, 2012

The Defense Threat Reduction Agency, Chemical/Biological Technologies Department (DTRA-CB) will be holding a Pre-Proposal Industry Day to provide information on the Nanostructured Active Therapeutic Vehicles (NATV) program vision and goals.

The NATV effort is for development of nanostructured material vehicles capable of active detection of insult/threat and release of payload of in vivo therapeutics, enabling prophylactic or pre-symptomatic administration of targeted therapies.

The initiative was introduced via Amendment 30 to the DTRA Chemical and Biological Broad Agency Announcement (HDTRA1-12-CHEM-BIO-BAA), the 12/13 Service Call NATV Amendment and Amendment 8 to the DTRA Fundamental Research (FR) Broad Agency Announcement (HDTRA1-09-14-FRCWMD-BAA).

The Pre-Proposal Industry Day will be held on November 7, 2012 in Lorton, Virginia. Interested parties may also participate virtually via live webcast and teleconference.

The meeting will include overview presentations by government personnel as well as a question and answer sessions. There is no registration fee for attending the event. The deadline to register for the event is November 2, 2012.
