July 14 @ 8:30 am - 4:30 pm PDT
Public health professionals, epidemiologists, and global health security stakeholders are invited to participate in From Sewers to Solutions: Wastewater Monitoring for Public Health Action, a free, in-person pre-conference workshop hosted by the National Association of County and City Health Officials (NACCHO). This full-day event will take place on Monday, July 14, 2025, from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM PT at the Hilton Anaheim in Anaheim, California, in conjunction with the 2025 NACCHO360 Annual Conference.
This workshop will bring together leading voices and technical experts from across the wastewater monitoring field. Through a combination of presentations and panel discussions, attendees will gain practical insights into how wastewater surveillance can inform public health action. Participants will leave with a deeper understanding of:
- The latest tools, methods, and best practices in wastewater monitoring
- Real-world applications in infectious disease tracking and environmental health
- Opportunities for cross-sector collaboration and innovation
The event also offers a unique platform to build connections with professionals from environmental engineering, epidemiology, health departments, and other sectors involved in wastewater data collection and use.
Importantly, registration for the NACCHO360 Annual Conference is not required to attend this workshop. A limited number of travel scholarships are available and will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. Early application is encouraged.
