National Guard Seeks CBRN Response Trailer

The Maryland National Guard has issued a solicitation for sources capable of designing, building and providing training on a Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN) equipment trailer.

As part of the design requirements, the trailer must be 28 foot by 9 foot bumper pull with the first 20 feet used to hold all equipment and the rear 8 feet used as an area to dress/undress from CBRN gear and as a resting area.

The trailer will need custom built seating to hold additional Self Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) bottles underneath. Other requirements include a built-in 10-KW diesel generator, 18-gallon fuel cell, air conditioning units, refrigerator, pass-through window for logistics, and computer workstations.

Companies with experience in this field are asked to submit evidence of recent work similar in type and scope to include drawings, photographs, or descriptions of work performed.
