ClinicalRM Receives Military Medical Research Contract

by Global Biodefense Staff
May 19, 2012

Clinical Research Management, Inc. (ClinicalRM) was this week awarded a $597K contract by the U.S. Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity in support of research studies at Walter Reed Army Institute of Research (WRAIR). The award adds to a string of support contracts awarded to the company by the Army and Navy in the past year.

In June 2011, ClinicalRM received a 5-year, $97M contract also to be performed at WRAIR.  This contract encompasses efforts to develop drugs, vaccines and associated products to address diseases of strategic interest to the military; and to develop products to enhance warfighter resilience, and reduce and mitigate the impact of brain injury and combat stress.

In September, Clinical RM was awarded two contracts by the Navy Medical Research Center (NMRC) under its Omnibus III program. The awards were for the supply of resources in support of NMRC medical research including personnel, materials, equipment, facilities, science, and technology.

ClinicalRM is a full-service contract research company based in Hinckley, Ohio.
