In anticipation of the adverse weather this week on the east coast, the Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority (BARDA) has postponed the Contracting for Countermeasures conference scheduled to take place October 29-31 in Washington D.C.
The event designed for industry to learn more about U.S. government medical countermeasure requirements will be rescheduled in the near future.
As of this morning, plans are still moving forward for the 5th Annual CBRNe Convergence 2012 scheduled for October 30 – November 2 in Norfolk, Virginia. Organizers are urging participants to check travel advisory notices posted on the CBRNe World website and to make alternate travel arrangements as required.
The American Society for Clinical Pathology currently expects all events to move forward as scheduled for their Annual Meeting scheduled to begin October 31 in Boston, Mass. Any changes will be posted on the organization’s website.
