The Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) has announced a research award to Harvard University for further development of a new diagnostic platform for biodefense.
The rapid diagnostic system is for the detection of Brucella and other biothreat agents. The contract goal is to develop the platform to achieve a Technology Readiness Level (TRL) of 5 to 6. The period of performance is two years.
