The Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) has announced intentions to negotiate and award a sole-source contract award to Defense Group, Inc. for an effort entitled “DTRA Nuclear Survivability Program Guidebook.”
The scope of this effort is to update the guidebook, integrating feedback from Program Managers, and updating and validating the information for consistency with the newly signed DoDI 3150.09 Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRN) Survivability Policy w/Change 1 and CJCSI 3170.01J Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (if reissued).
The guidebook will be used as a training aid for Program Managers.
“As the author of the Guidebook, and therefore the organization most familiar with its detailed structure and contents, Defense Group, Inc. is uniquely qualified to work with the government to determine what comments should be integrated into the document,” states the announcement. “DGI already has the necessary search tools, repository, and distribution methods (SAFE) established.”
