The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) will host an Industry Day June 30, 2015 for an initiative to establish a contractual relationship with the private sector for the operation of the Homeland Security Operational Analysis Center (HSOAC) Federally Funded Research and Development Center (FFRDC).
The planned HSOAC FFRDC is intended to provide mission level technical and integration expertise to DHS leadership and managers, refocusing the existing Homeland Security Studies and Analysis Institute FFRDC with comprehensive and renewed core competencies in operational analyses.
The HSOAC will provide special and independent studies and analysis expertise to DOE mission stakeholders to transform mission-level goals into strategies, operational requirements, and performance metrics.
During the Industry Day event, the DHS will provide answers to questions in response to the draft Request for Proposals for the effort, as well as information on the next steps for the procurement process.
The event will be held at the Homeland Security Acquisition Institute in Washington, D.C.
