The United Kingdom’s Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council (BBSRC) is seeking input from active researchers and policy-makers on arthropod vector biology and vector-borne diseases research, training, infrastructure and translational activities.

The survey aims to gain a greater understanding of the UK landscape of vector-borne diseases research capabilities and identify current strengths and weaknesses.

In addition, BBSRC aims to identify vector biology research priorities for the next 5-10 years and determine the future research challenges and potential barriers to progress.

The UK Vector Biology and Vector Borne Disease Research Landscape survey is open until September 23, 2015.

The survey results will be published in a final report which will be made available to the public and shared with other UK funding agencies.
