If your small business has strong experience with scientific data processing and outreach, consider sending a contract proposal to establish an Influenza Data Processing and Communication Center (iDPCC).
Rationale and Requirements
This solicitation recompetes and renames the current influenza DPCC contract to support NIAID’s Centers of Excellence for Influenza Research and Response (CEIRR) network.
The successful iDPCC contractor will do the following:
- Maintain and operate secure state-of-the-art computer-based systems for CEIRR data processing, coordination, and reporting
- Act as a central communication resource for the CEIRR network and other NIAID influenza initiatives
- Provide extensive outreach to the broad scientific community to publicize NIAID’s influenza research programs
- Facilitate the scientific community’s access to the influenza reagents and resources generated by NIAID programs
Award Type, Due Date, and Contact
The acquisition is set aside for small business. NIAID anticipates awarding one cost-reimbursement type contract with a seven-year term (one-year Base term and six one-year Option periods) to support 10.4 full-time equivalent personnel, including subcontractors and consultants, per term.
