Bioinspired Materials

The Bioinspired Materials Research Seminar will be held June 21-22, 2014 in Newry, Maine. The theme for this event is “Better Materials via Biological Blueprints.”
Bioinspired Materials will focus on developing materials with improved properties and functions by harnessing the principles of bioinspired molecular design, fabrication, and assembly across the nano, micro, and macroscales.
The seminar is a unique forum for graduate students, post-docs, and other scientists with comparable levels of experience and education to present and exchange new data and cutting edge ideas. The meeting will feature approximately 10 talks and 2 poster sessions. All attendees are expected to actively participate in the GRS either by giving an oral presentation or presenting a poster.
