Biological Weapons Convention: Orientation Workshop

In preparation for the Biological Weapons Convention (BWC) 2020 Meeting of Experts in December 2020, UNIDIR is hosting a brief BWC Orientation course for national delegates. The event will provide a basic introduction to the BWC and some of the key issues facing the Convention. It will also serve as opportunity for delegates to informally ask experts in the field any questions they may have related to the BWC.

The event will comprise of several short segments covering topics including international cooperation, science and technology, and transparency and compliance. UNIDIR will moderate the event. Confirmed speakers include:
