Interbacterial Cooperation and Competition
March 13, 2015 - March 16, 2015
The ASM Conference on Mechanism of Interbacterial Cooperation and Competition will take place March 13-16, 2015 in Washington D.C.
The goal of this conference is to bring together groups of scientists interested in all aspects of interbacterial interactions and microbiological community development and maintenance. These groups, which include microbiologists studying microbial social behaviors, quorum sensing, biofilm formation, bacteriocin biology, gene regulatory networks, ecology, evolution, and Type 5 and Type 6 Secretion Systems, have not typically been included in or attended the same conferences, yet these scientists are studying the same, or closely related, microbial processes – just from different perspectives.
