Introduction to the 2024 Joint Commission Standards for Infection Control

March 15 @ 10:00 am - 11:00 am PDT

Beginning this summer, hospitals looking to maintain or apply for accreditation from The Joint Commission—the nation’s oldest and largest standards-setting and accrediting body in health care—will have to adopt a new set of standards for high-consequence infectious diseases (HCID).

Join NETEC for an exploration of the new infection control requirements established by the Joint Commission, the nation’s oldest and largest standards-setting and accrediting body in health care. Panelists will review key changes to the standards, which will go into effect July 1, 2024, and identify strategies for implementation and compliance. Resources and tools will be shared to empower your organization to help prepare for the new standards by July 2024.

This webinar is for health care professionals who will implement and/or provide training on these new standards including, quality improvement teams, emergency managers, infection preventionists, hospital epidemiologists, educational specialists, nurse educators, and coordinators for physician education.

The webinar is free and open to all health care professionals, especially quality improvement teams, emergency managers, infection preventionists, hospital epidemiologists, educational specialists, nurse educators, and coordinators for physician education.
