PACCARB Public Meeting

The 24th Presidential Advisory Council on Combating Antibiotic-Resistant Bacteria (PACCARB) public meeting will be held virtually on February 22, 2024.

This will be the second of two meetings to address the task provided to the PACCARB by the Secretary of HHS to address antimicrobial resistance globally. The focus of the meeting will be on international implementers and the gaps, challenges, and opportunities they see to combat AMR globally – specifically focusing on low- and middle-income countries.

Meetings of the PACCARB are open to the public, and virtual meetings can be accessed through the webcast. Registration to attend is not required but is encouraged. Attendees may also directly address the council on topics of antimicrobial resistance during public meetings. To provide written comments, please e-mail your comments to CARB@hhs.gov. Written comments must be sent in by midnight February 15, 2024 and should be limited to no more than one page. All public comments received prior to the deadline will be provided to the PACCARB council members.
