Respiratory Protection for the Public and Workers without Respiratory Protection Programs at their Workplaces

This is the eighth virtual meeting of a consensus study focused on respiratory protection for the public and workers without respiratory protection programs. During the public portion of this meeting, the committee will explore current processes and systems for evaluating infectious agents transmissible by inhalation routes and determining the need for public use of respiratory protective devices.

The discussion will be led by:

  • JONATHAN SAMET, Committee Chair Dean and Professor, Colorado School of Public Health
  • CAPT LISA DELANEY, Associate Director, Emergency Preparedness and Response Program, National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health
  • MICHAEL BELL, Deputy Director, Division of Healthcare Quality Promotion, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention
