The NASEM Committee on the Review of Transmission and Geographic Spread of Chronic Wasting Disease in U.S. Cervid Populations will hold a public webinar on February 6, 2025.
The discussion will center on release of a new report describing the state of knowledge regarding:
- How CWD is transmitted among cervids
- The current distribution of disease outbreaks
- The effectiveness of current diagnostic, prevention, and control methods
Members of the committee will provide an overview of the report’s key messages and there will be an opportunity for audience Q&A.
