About the speaker:
Dr. Michael Puckette is a supervisory microbiologist for the Biologics Development Module, or BDM, located at the USDA National Bio and Agro-Defense Facility (NBAF). In his role, Dr. Puckette will focus research on accelerating the technology transfer from research to commercial partners. In his previous role with the Department of Homeland Security-Science & Technology (DHS-S&T), Dr. Puckette worked at Plum Island Animal Disease Research Center developing Foot-and-Mouth Disease Virus (FMDV) vaccine technologies.
