Merck, Sanofi Pasteur Awarded Military Flu Vaccine Orders

Merck & Co., Inc., West Point, Pa., was awarded a firm-fixed-price contract with a maximum of $11,555,970 for flu vaccines for the Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marine Corps. Type of appropriation is fiscal 2012 through 2013 Defense Working Capital Funds. There were six proposals with five responses. The date of performance completion is Sept. 28, 2012. The Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SPM2DP-12-D-0004).

Sanofi Pasteur, Swiftwater, Pa., was awarded a firm-fixed-price contract with a maximum $9,554,040 for flu vaccines. There are no other locations of performance. Using services are Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps and federal civilian agencies. Type of appropriation is fiscal 2012 through 2013 Defense Working Capital Funds. There were six proposals with two responses. The date of performance completion is Sept. 28, 2012.
