The government has issued a Request for Quotation (RFQ) to provide maintenance for the security and electronic systems at the U.S. Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases (USAMRIID), Fort Detrick, Maryland.
The government’s objective is to ensure continual, proper operation of all security and electronic systems including all systems installed in biocontainment labs. The requirement is for staffing, materials, supplies and replacement parts as necessary to maintain the Electronic Entry Control System (EECS), the Intrusion Detection System (IDS), the Closed Circuit Television System (CCTV), Video Recording, Intercom, Public Address, and Fiber Optic Communications Network, and Asset Tracking System.
USAMRIID operates continuously 24 hours per day, 365 days per year. Contractor personnel will be required to perform maintenance work in BSL-3 and BSL-4 lab environments.
