JPEO CBD Critical Reagents Program

The U.S. Army Contracting Center, Natick Contracting Division, on behalf of the Medical Countermeasures Systems – Critical Reagents Program, is soliciting for the manufacture of Lateral Flow Immunoassay (LFI).

The LFI strips will be utilized for assembly into end items for the Joint Biological Point Detection System (JBPDS), the Joint Portal Shield (JPS) System, and individual Hand Held Assays (HHAs) used for domestic preparedness and counter-terrorist operations.

The LFI strips will be for the detection of approximately 14 – 20 antigens (analyte specific) and positive/negative controls strips in accordance with forthcoming government specifications.

The Request for Proposal (RFP) is expected to be issued on or about April 16, 2015. A Product Demonstration Model (PDM) will be one of evaluation subfactors in the solicitation. Parties interested in submitting an offer will have from now until April 21, 2015 to submit a “PDM Request to Participate and Agreement.”

Further details are available via Solicitation Number: W911QY-15-R-0018.
