Webinar Available on Chemical Threat Countermeasure Funding

CounterACT Program Snapshot

The U.S. federal government’s Countermeasures Against Chemical Threats (CounterACT) program is a research program supporting basic, translational, and clinical research aimed at the discovery or identification of better therapeutic medical countermeasures or diagnostic technologies against chemical threat agents.

The program has now made available on-demand webinar describing the current Funding Opportunity Announcements supported by the program.

Active program funding opportunities include:

  • PAR-15-315 – CounterACT Exploratory/Developmental (R21)
  • PAR-16-329 – CounterACT Research Centers of Excellence (U54)
  • PAR-16-330 – CounterACT Identification of Therapeutic Lead Compounds (U01)
  • PAR-16-331 – CounterACT Optimization of Therapeutic Lead Compounds (U01)

After reviewing the presentation, potential CounterACT applicants are encouraged to submit any questions or comments they may have via email to the program organizers.
