Battelle’s Hazardous Materials Research Center (HMRC) will host a Live-Agent Test Week April 17-21, 2017.
The event is an opportunity for manufacturers and developers of personal protective equipment against Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN) threats to submit their materials for live chemical agent permeation testing at a discounted price.
Battelle’s HMRC has been involved with the testing and evaluation of several large government acquisition programs such as the Joint Service Lightweight Integrated Suit Technology (JSLIST) and the Uniform Integrated Protective Ensemble (UIPE). Battelle also supports commercial clients in testing their developmental materials and overgarments to help ensure their technology can meet critical test and evaluation milestones.
Testing will be conducted in accordance with military standards or NFPA standards based upon individual needs.
Permeation test data will help accelerate research and development to enable developers to meet critical government test and evaluation requirements or be prepared for certification, ensuring materials can provide chemical agent protection against mission specific scenarios.
