RFI – Accreditation of Pentagon Force Protection Agency CBRNE Laboratory

The U.S. military is conducting a market survey seeking contractors to provide ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation of the Pentagon Force Protection Agency (PFPA) CBRNE Laboratory and Threat Agent Testing Laboratory Accreditation Program.

Services required under the effort include:

  • Auditing of policies, procedures, records and personnel to determine adherence to a particular standard (i.e., ISO/IEC 17025).
  • Assessment of CBRNE Laboratory Quality Management System documents for compliance with the ISO/IEC 17025 standard.
  • Assessment of CBRNE Laboratory Quality Management System documents for compliance with the Threat Agent Testing Laboratory Accreditation Program Requirements.
  • Assessment of the CBRNE Laboratory Quality Management System records and personnel to determine operational compliance with the ISO/IEC 17025 standard.
  • Upon providing the corrective action(s) for audit deficiencies, shall be able to issue the ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation and certificate to the CBRNE Lab with any updates to expiration date of the certificate, scope of accreditation and organizational information.
