DoD Seeks Supplier for 2018-2019 Seasonal Influenza Vaccine

The Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support is soliciting for the supply of Injectable Influenza Vaccine for the 2018-2019 flu season. Approximately 3.6 million doses are included in this requirement.

The vaccines shall be in the following presentations: multi-dose vials and prefilled syringes.  The vaccine shall be FDA-approved for the following age categories: for immunizing individuals 18 years and older; for immunizing individuals 9 years and older; and for immunizing individuals 3 years and older.  Also, 10-pack prefilled syringes for immunizing 6 months to 35 months (pediatric group).

The formula for the 2018-2019 season shall be determined by the FDA’s Vaccines and Related Biological Products Advisory Committee.  Other specification data is included in the solicitation.  Successful contractor must have FDA Approval.  National Stock Numbers shall be established at time of award.

An indefinite quantity contract is proposed.  The quantity indicated is an annual estimate only.  The guaranteed minimum will be 75% of the annual estimate, and a contract maximum will be established at 150% of the annual estimate.
