USAMRIID Seeks Isolation and Purification of Ovatoxins

The U.S. Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity (USAMRAA) is conducting market research to obtain information regarding services provide Isolation and purification of ovatoxin-a from O. ovata cell pellets to the U.S. Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases (USAMRIID).

The objective of this work is to purify ovatoxins from Ostreopsis ovata cell pellets which will be provided by USAMRIID. The purification protocol has already been developed by the contractor, although some further optimization may be required to maximize yield. The resulting product will be > 90% in purity.
