ASPPH 2024 Annual Meeting

The 2024 ASPPH Annual Meeting for Academic Public Health is March 21-23, 2024 in Arlington, Virginia.
The Annual Meeting convenes graduate and undergraduate academic public health leaders, faculty, students, and members of the public health community from around the world to research in public health. We are committed to presenting timely, relevant sessions and information and facilitating essential discussions that advance our shared mission of creating a healthier world.
Network with academic public health leaders, students, and faculty; public health partners from the government; fellow association members; and foundation leaders and sponsors of academic public health initiatives.
The meeting will be held all day on Thursday, March 21 and Friday, March 22 with optional skill-building workshops on Saturday, March 23 from 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM ET.
Taking place Friday, March 22 at 9:00 AM ET, Dr. Lisa Cooper, Bloomberg Distinguished Professor, Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, and author of Why Are Health Disparities Everyone’s Problem, will provide opening remarks. An inter-sectoral panel discussion will follow with representatives from academia, government, and industry discussing the role of their respective disciplines in advancing knowledge and understanding of health disparities and identifying mechanisms to improve minority health and reduce health disparities. This session aims to foster a deeper understanding of the challenges at hand and inspire collaborative solutions.
