IARPA PICARD Program Proposers’ Day

September 26, 2022 @ 10:30 am - 5:30 pm EDT

The IARPA Pursuing Intelligent Complex Aerosols for Rapid Detection (PICARD) program will host a Proposer’s Day on 26 September 2022 to introduce the PICARD program to potential proposers and to provide information on technical requirements and program objectives. The PICARD program intends to develop a fieldable sensing platform for the rapid identification of aerosol particles in plumes. This platform will address both point detection (in situ) and standoff detection capabilities that focus on the complexity of aerosols with non-uniform sizes, structures, and chemical composition as well as dispersion in challenging environments.

The goal of PICARD is to develop novel integrated hardware and software tools that will improve the current state of the art with respect to chemical specificity, accuracy, and sensitivity.

The PICARD Proposers’ Day is a hybrid event that will be broadcast via the Webex video conference platform for remote attendees. In person participation is encouraged to facilitate information exchange and team forming. For planning purposes, the venue is located near the Ballston Metro Station in Arlington, VA. A recorded video of the meeting will be made available to the public on the IARPA website after the event.

Proposers’ Day Registration Closes: Friday, September 16, 2022 at noon EDT. Please visit IARPA’s PICARD Proposers’ Day website for more information.
