NIAID Review of BAA Proposals for Vaccine Candidates for Biodefense and Emerging Infectious Diseases

A closed meeting of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) Special Emphasis Panel will be held September 1, 2023 to review and evaluate contract proposals for the NIAID 2023 DMID Omnibus BAA (HHS–NIH–NIAID–BAA2023–1), Research Area 001—Development of Vaccine Candidates for Biodefense and Emerging Infectious Diseases.
The meeting will be closed to the public in accordance with U.S. policies as the contract proposals and the discussions could disclose confidential trade secrets or commercial property such as patentable material, and personal information concerning individuals associated with the contract proposals, the disclosure of which would constitute a clearly unwarranted invasion of personal privacy.
The proposals advancing vaccine candidates, technologies, and platforms that could be deployed against agents that include category A, B, and C NIAID Emerging Infectious Diseases and Pathogens.
